Belasco Theater
The Belasco Theater Stage door is located right outside the box office doors. This is the the left of the house. When you enter the theater for the first time, pay attention to the black door just past the marquee. As I was seated in Orchestra Left, it was very easy and quick to get to the stage door. I was able to be up against the barriers.
Be warned, there’s a lot of people who want to stage door this show; in part because of how amazing it is, and in part for Darren Criss. I did not have Darren come out for my stage dooring, but I know he does come out. It takes him a while to get out of his makeup. Remember his usual rule: there’s more of us than there is of him, so no selfies.
The cast of this show is very sweet and appreciative. Helen J Shen, Marcus Choi and Dez Duron came out for my show. Each of them are amazing in this show and very kind in my brief conversation with them. The fellow fans there also had lovely conversations with them. The guards were nice as well. It was very cold out so they immediately let us know when no one else would come out so we could go home.
All in all – a very good stage door experience.
